Buy more, Win more & Share more Christmas promo 2021

It’s the season for giving!

Yearly we’ve been giving Christmas Groceries to Filipino families even before we started Almere Pinoy Store.

This time we would like to also do something for our fellow Kababayans in the Netherlands, as a thank you for supporting our small business.

When: promo starts November 10 to and including December 19.

How to participate in this promo: 

  •  Place an order – Your order number will serve as your ticket. The more you order, the more ticket you will have and the more chances of winning,
  • Win the prices – Raffle will take place on December 20, 2021 at 15:00 (03:00pm) via Facebook live.  Updates will be posted on our Facebook page.
  • Share more – For every order we receive €5,- goes to our Pamaskong handog fund. With those funds Christmas groceries will be bought for Filipino families who are in need.

Terms and conditions:

  • You cannot win more than 1 prize to be fair to others.
  • Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or for other items.
  • Prizes do not include shipping fee and/or frozen surcharge for holiday ham.
  • Prizes can also be picked up in our location.
  • The winner will be notified via email and sms on how they can claim their prizes.
  • Redemption period is valid until 30 days upon receipt of the notification.

BOPIS

Bopis is a Filipino dish made of minced pork lung and heart cooked in onions, garlic, and chili peppers. This can be served as Pulotan ( appetizer for beer and alcoholic drinks) or it can also be served with steamed white rice.


Ingredients:

1 pack Nida Bopis

1 medium Onion (chopped)

2 garlic cloves (minced)

small ginger (Optional)

1 red bell pepper (cubed)

1/4 cup Datu puti Vinegar

1 tsp Turmeric

1 big carrot (Cubed)

1 labuyo (depending on how spicy you want it)

Ground black pepper and salt to taste

You can also use Fish sauce.


Heat oil & Stir fry garlic, onion and ginger until lightly brown. Add carrots, turmeric powder and 1 pack Nida Bopis pack. Simmer for 5minutes then add vinegar and cook for another 15minutes.  Finally add bell pepper, chili, pepper and salted or fish sauce to taste. Enjoy!

Ginataang Langka with Crab

Ingredients:

 Instruction :

  1. Put coconut milk, garlic, onion, ginger and lemon grass in a saucepan and let it boil for 10minutes.
  2. Keep stirring to avoid the coconut milk from curdling.
  3. Add crabs, jackfruit and shrimp paste. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25minutes until jackfruits is cooked.
  4. Add long green chilli, magic sarap and season with salt and pepper, simmer for 5minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
