Kumquat is generally known as Sugar Kiat or simply Kiat-kiat, which are small, sweet, oval-shaped citrus fruits. It is distinct from, but related to, the more common Filipino citrus, Calamansi (or Kalamansi), which is a sour hybrid of kumquat and mandarin.
