Monika Purple Yam & Coconut (Ube Macapuno) not only tastes delicious at breakfast but is also delicious as a snack or dessert. The fruit pulp consists of the flesh of the coconut refined with yam which has a sweet floury taste (similar to the chestnut). The creamy Monika Purple Yam & Coconut (Ube Macapuno) is well spreadable on bread or crackers and easy to dissolve in warm milk for making desserts. This pulp is also used for the preparation of halo-halo (Filipino dessert of ice cream, fresh fruit and condensed milk).
